2nd Kitchen Class


This is what i did for my second kitchen class. It looks messy because my chef had already eaten it and then my friend took the picture -.-

Name of Dish: Roast Duck with Orange Balsamic Reduction accompanied with Glaze Cabbage and Carrot with Duck Confit and glazed vegetables.

This dish is a real "heart attack on the plate" because i used a lot of butter to cook the cabbage and carrots!

These were the comments i got from the Chef

-Risotto was somehow overcook
-Need more bright colours
-Cabbage should have cooked with vinegar to make it more brighter
-Duck was perfect
-Need more sauce

The funny thing was i made the risotto and my partner used the same and the chef commented on his risotto was just nice... how la?
